Rascal Flatts have a featured article in First Magazine. In this Gary, Jay, and Joe Don talk about the women in their lives. The guys spend alot of time away from home with their busy schedule touring and promoting new albums, etc. The talented trio had some sweet things to say about their special ladies and how they have changed them and the simple things that make them smile.

Gary and his wife have been married 10 years and he talked about keeping the love alive with his wife Tara. “We have date nights once a week. Tara lights a candle to set the mood, but she doesn’t even know she’s just that special.” says Gary. “She puts on all the makeup and stuff, and it’s like, “Baby, you ought to see what I see when it’s off-you’re even more beautiful without it as you are with it.”

Jay on his wife Allison of 5 years.“When she knows I’m at the end of my rope and I’m really stressed out, my wife has a way of doing little things,” says Jay. “Even if it’s just a little text message to tell me how proud she is of me and how she appreciates my hard work. “She’s just extraordinary and loyal and has one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen. “When you’re lost in your work, it means so much to know that somebody is thinking about your or praying for you or has your back.”

Joe Don talked about his wife Tiffany of 3 years. The couple had their first child last May, Jagger Donovan. “I saw a whole other side of Tiffany that I never saw before.” says Joe Don talking about his wife’s pregnancy. “To see her focusing on being a great mother, not even having given birth yet, it just made me fall in love with her again.”
